The Guest Room

Raven lay sprawled across the mattress in a loose black tee, the kind that hung low enough to tempt and high enough to tease. The hem curled against her hips, revealing the tops of her thighs as she shifted restlessly beneath the sheets.
The clock on the dresser read 1:24 AM. Her phone screen was dimmed, a half-finished message to no one lingering open. Her fingers twitched beside it, the need in her chest steadily rising.
She hated how much this house messed with her. The smell of cedar and musk that clung to the walls. The soft masculine voice that told her "Goodnight, sleep well" from down the hall. The occasional clink of ice in a glass as he sipped whiskey before bed. It should’ve been just a weeklong stay while her apartment was being worked on — a temporary arrangement. Nothing more.
But he was always right there.
And tonight, Raven was unraveling.
She twisted under the covers, eyes fixed on the door, knowing he was just a few steps away. Her mind pulled images she shouldn’t have — flashes of bare arms in sleeveless tees, low voices, warm glances. She pictured the way he smiled at her when she walked into the kitchen wearing his hoodie that hung down to her thighs. The way his gaze lingered, then politely looked away.
She could feel herself getting wet just thinking about it.
Her thighs pressed together. Her hand ghosted down her stomach, slipping under the waistband of her panties — just a graze. Just enough to test the ache.
A tiny breath escaped her lips.
She bit the inside of her cheek and turned onto her side, pressing her face into the pillow, muffling the sound as her fingers moved with more purpose. She was already soaked — the tension building for days, now boiling just beneath the surface.
But she didn’t know he was still awake.
Down the hall, he'd been pacing his room. A glass of whiskey sat untouched on the desk. He couldn’t stop thinking about her — Raven, with her legs tucked under her on his couch, her sarcasm, her fire, the way she laughed with her whole body.
He had told himself it was off-limits. She was a guest. A friend. But every night, it got harder to ignore how his heart thudded when she walked past in those soft, clingy tees, bare-legged and sleepy-eyed.
He heard something — faint. A creak. A gasp.
His breath caught.
He waited a beat, then another. The silence pressed against him. Finally, he stepped into the hallway, barefoot, quiet. Her door was cracked open an inch.
He peeked in.
And froze.
Raven was on her back now, shirt hiked up to her waist, one hand between her thighs, the other tangled in her sheets. Her eyes were squeezed shut, bottom lip caught between her teeth. Her hips rolled in slow, desperate motion, chasing friction.
He knew he should walk away. But he couldn’t. The sight of her — so undone, so real — slammed into him like a wave.
Then her eyes opened.
She saw him.
The air between them snapped tight.
Neither of them moved.
Then, she spoke — barely more than a whisper.
"Are you just gonna stand there... or close the door?"
He didn’t answer. He stepped inside.
The door clicked shut behind him.
He crossed the room slowly, watching her as if he expected her to vanish. Her legs parted just a little wider in invitation, her hand slipping out from between them as he came closer. He hovered over the bed, not touching her yet.
"You sure?" he asked, voice low.
She reached up, fingers curling into his shirt to pull him closer. "Do I look unsure?"
Their lips met — tentative at first, then deepening. She tasted like heat and longing, her hands sliding up into his hair as he pressed against her. Their bodies fit like puzzle pieces. He groaned against her mouth as she arched into him.
His hands found the hem of her tee and pushed it up. She lifted her arms and let him pull it off entirely, tossing it to the floor. Her skin glowed in the soft moonlight filtering through the blinds. He looked down at her with something close to awe.
"You’re beautiful," he breathed.
She smirked, tugging him back down. "Less talking, more touching."
His mouth found her neck, her collarbone, her chest. He kissed down her stomach, slow and reverent. Her panties were already damp, clinging to her curves. He eased them off, tossing them aside, then kissed the inside of her thighs, savoring the way her muscles jumped beneath his lips.
But Raven wasn’t just going to lie there.
She sat up, hands pressing to his chest, pushing him back until he dropped on the floor behind him — near the desk chair she'd curled in to scroll her phone just hours before.
She dropped to her knees between his legs and pulled at his waistband. He helped her, watching her with hungry eyes as she freed him from his pants. Her tongue traced the length of him, slow and torturous, before taking him into her mouth with a moan.
He closed his fists, muscles tight, barely able to breathe.
"Fuck... Raven..."
She pulled off with a smile, eyes gleaming. "Bed. Now."
He didn’t need to be told twice.
She climbed on top of him, knees straddling his hips, hair spilling around her shoulders. She rubbed herself against him, teasing, slick heat gliding along his length.
He groaned, fingers gripping her thighs. "You’re gonna kill me."
She leaned down, lips brushing his. "Only if I don’t come first."
Then she sank down onto him in one smooth motion.
They both gasped — the fit was perfect. She rolled her hips, slow and deliberate, setting a rhythm that made his head fall back against the pillows. Her hands slid up his chest, nails raking gently across his skin, just enough to sting.
The bed creaked beneath them as she rode him, her breath coming in sharp gasps. She leaned back, palms on his thighs, giving him a full view of her — flushed skin, bouncing curves, wild eyes locked onto his.
"You feel so fucking good," she moaned.
He reached up, thumb brushing over her clit. Her body jerked in response.
She was close. He could feel it.
Raven leaned forward again, lips brushing his ear.
"Don’t stop. Not yet."
He didn’t.
Her body tensed — every muscle drawn tight as a bowstring. Her hips bucked faster, more erratic, chasing the edge. Her moans became cries, raw and breathless.
Her climax ripped through her, sudden and violent, her nails sinking into his chest. Her body clamped around him, shuddering, gasping, breaking.
The sight, the sound, the feeling of her coming undone was too much.
He followed with a groan, hands gripping her hips as he spilled into her, buried deep.
They stayed like that — tangled and trembling.
Minutes passed. Raven finally collapsed forward, resting her cheek against his chest. Her breath slowed, heartbeat gradually easing. His fingers stroked up and down her spine.
"So much for sleep," he murmured.
She laughed softly, nuzzling his neck.
"You’re warm. I might forgive you."
"You forgive me every time you come in here wearing nothing but one of my shirts."
She smiled against his skin. "Then maybe I should stop pretending I don’t do it on purpose."
He kissed the top of her head.
Somewhere outside, the fan still spun — lazy, slow, uncaring.
And neither of them planned on leaving the guest room anytime soon.

I think you might have notice that this one could be divided into 2 smaller parts. I wanted to picture both at first... Then I had to re-evaluate my strategy 😶 I also think I will try soon to includes some of the pics, or smaller version of them directly into the story because I'm not satisfied yet with this format and something is feeling wrong to me. I need this extra level of immersion that you can't have with the images on top alone and then the text. I'll try something during the next stories and see!

The short story and illustrations are very beautiful done. Oddly the story seems more compelling and satisfying when paired with the pics. May I recommend including the after glow of their passionate embrace? Raven looks fantastic when she’s enjoying her passionate embrace! Like she’s actually cracking a smile at knowing allure worked!😊
