2018 Art summary
🕑 Added 2018-12-31 01:00:01 +0000 UTC Yet another year has passed :) 2018 was a rough year for me. I changed and grew more as a person than as an artist, in my opinion. I usually write long essays about each piece and what I wanted to achieve with them, but I won't do that this year. Frankly, when I was picking the pieces for each month I only felt sad. I remembered the struggles I went through personally as I was painting each piece, unrelated to the art itself ofc, the disappointing feeling when I realized how slim the pickings were for some months :(Some people have been wonderful to me over this year and shown so much support and understanding, I can't thank you enough <3 Sadly it has also been a year where I came to realize that some people are not truly your friends, they don't truly wish you the best in life, even if you've been friends for a long time. Sometimes it's better to be lonely than in bad company *shrug*
ANYWAY. To not let the art go unmentioned!
I've experimented a lot with lighting this year. Especially on the hair, LOL. The beginning and middle of the year was quite heavy on the NSFW, but I've stepped back from it and toned it down a notch later on - it was a fun period to experiment with, but honestly it wasn't entirely in my taste, and it attracted some pretty... nope.jpg requests XD
My goals from last year:
- Improve coloring skills
- Interesting poses/angles
- Learn to take breaks before burning yourself out (sort of managing this one now...?)
- Male anatomy
- Stop overworking yourself
- Hold that giveaway (ain't nobody got time for that)
My goals for 2019:
- Improve coloring skills
- Interesting poses/angles
- Male anatomy
- It's better to do something small than nothing at all
- Do more SFW art
- Do more feel good art, need more of that shit in the world

Sorry to hea ... read 2018 was THAT much of a rough patch for you, sadly enough it happens and all we can do is push through. Well that and maybe fix our terminology. Because frankly, if they turn on you, you never been friends. You may have thought so, but you really only been acquainted. Already more then such people deserve. Looking at it that way may not help much at first, but it at least helped me to get over it a little bit better. So let go of the sad times and Happy New Year. May 2019 treat you kindly.

Hey you're not the only one who's had issues, I've had pretty much most of my friends turn on me. Plus it's people like you that really inspire and push me more into learning and improving my drawing abilities. So thanks for the amazing art that you create, moon. (Especially the commission for my character Velestra Embershard.)
