Scholar of Endless Knowledge

It still pisses me off that he is so focused on every major skill he uses being ideal, yet caved immediately with Aether manipulation. Literally makes zero sense. I hope you fix that shit author.

Under the kinetic domination option physique is written twice instead of physics.

I see tribulations like going on a games how. Studying and practice might make you more likely to win but all it takes is a small question to stump you. Tribulations are basically Who Want to be a millionaire but there are no lifelines and failing on a question gets you killed.

“Impossible” can be many things (ironic?), and to the point of highlighting the difficulty and lethality of tribulations, I feel it is too vague to use. To put oneself in Priam’s shoes, I think it’s best to imagine taking a test you can only try and study for, but up until the moment, you can’t be sure of what the content of the test will be. It could be asking you to recite a particular page from a book you read briefly a decade ago. Not a great comparison, I know, but the difficulty should carry over? Clues that narrow or even our right mention what the tests will be based upon would be godsends. Like Priam’s first set of tribulations. So much of that would’ve been lost on him. He may not have noticed the locusts’ peculiarity, may not have known to flee into a city, he would’ve been stumped on how to go about defeating a cloud for sure, and even worse, had he managed to defeat the first 3 somehow, he might’ve been entirely unaware of Pride’s Shadow.

As far as i remember that is only true Up to Double tribulations. Because all tribulations start at Same time the can interact and create basically Impossible challanges. That's one of the main reasons why multiple tribulations at once are so Dangerous.

I feel like Priam should create a skill to delay the level ups for other skills when he desires. That way he can get more meta stats and it doesn’t feel like he is constantly sinking potential into that. Because he’s going to be delaying level ups for his skills all throughout the different tiers

I assume the skill perquisites are skill names. If so, then appear to be partially left in French.

Another thing to note is that the system will never create an impossible tribulation. They are Fair in a way that they are just life-threatening puzzles to solve so the main character will always have a way to solve all tribulations he would encounter. (You have to remember tribulations are uniquely designed for each person and situation)

Michael Bradet-Legris

I like the story, but I somewhat agree with this. The fact that everyone has to deal with it is irrelevant. The system was intentionally designed this way, and it could have been designed differently. If we consider how much time he has and will spend limitting himself and passing tribulations and it stays with this trend, we could easily have several hundred chapters of stilted progress or time spent dealing with tribulations by the time the story ends. For now, it's still ok, but I'm not sure it's sustainable. Hopefully, in the future, we get more timeskips, or tribulations get nerfed so he can do more at once in a shorter time, or it becomes increasingly harder to meet the thresholds, maybe due to skill limits or something. It's not at the point of really causing issues yet imo, but could easily get out of hand.

A sextuple tribulation would have a difficulty of 25+36+49+64+81+100. Considering the difficult of his quadruple one was 1+4+9+16 the difficulty increase is just that much higher. An individual that could pass that would need to be at the level of being able to fight the tribes tier 3 and Priam was only able to injure one because of their ego. 5 ideal legendary skills, the perfect temper with ideal skills and trophies, complete mastery of two tier 1 concepts and a lot of setup and he might just squeak by a sextuple tribulation at Tier 0. He would also need to be on the cusp of stage 2 for all mysteries which would then immediately trigger the high tribulation and he would need to use a Tribulation Reward to delay it.

Baconwargod

I dont think so. This is just something everyone in the Concepts Universe has to deal with. literally everyone else also has to do similar things to artificially limit their growth. Its been an issue since the first reunion as well. Tier 0s especially seem to have to really limit themselves training wise because they trigger tribs so easily even for higher Tier races. I get the feeling but this has been a thing since he triggered his tribs the first time.

I am unsure why i get this feeling or if i am the only one currently feeling this way. The limiting to 5 Tribulations is bogging down the flow/feeling of advancement in the story. I get that Tribulations are scary and having 5 of them already pending is considered an apocalypse scenario for an individual but if i remember correctly it has been mentioned multiple times (one from a shop and i can't exactingly remember the other moments but I'm sure it has been mentioned multiple times might have to re-read to identify those moments again) That it is not impossible and other people have already successfully achieved more than 5 tribulations at once and considering it is the main character and his approach of getting all he can out of everything that he has access plus surpassing/breaking people's concept of impossible feats (Which to be honest he has only done that for the general population and due to humanity being a new race to the systems universe. I feel like he has not broken elites' concept of impossible (Or the titans of the universe concept of impossible) I feel like the restricting to 5 feels like extreme plot heavy enforced actions instead of the nature flow of events. Am i the only one that gets this feeling? I am enjoying the story btw. Just thought to throw this out there. **Adding a response to my original comment** Another thing to note is that the system will never create an impossible tribulation. They are Fair in a way that they are just life-threatening puzzles to solve so the main character will always have a way to solve all tribulations he would encounter.
