Awesome. Only a single word to describe. And actually the previous one just show that your whole story is attractive. Just make it better.
The right is awesome! I wonder if the organic part could somehow coalesce with the original skin in the edge area or to show some kind of skin reaction where it is touched. You could give the parasite the texture of a mucosa: fine structure and a little shiny.
