ah i honestly dont really use refs for poses! instead i try to imagine gesture lines for the flow of the hair, clothes..etc! i guess its also always reminding myself to push the perspective more and think of negative/positive space to benefit the composition! ultimately a lot of it is just going off my own feelings ^^ other than that, i do look at many amazing artists who do great compositions, and then try to understand the spacing/placement of objects as well as how the gesture lines of their characters flow with the piece i apologize if my response is still kind of vague u.u but if you have any other questions to dig deeper into my brain feel free to ask!
