Opus the Poet

34C is just barely warm, my shower is about 40C.

Mark Nach

Low light or a tint seems to be in the hall. Maybe to keep from hurting their eyes from too much light out of nowhere.

Kay Baird

Oh wow. There's something about how Spinny is shaded in panel three...

Lex of Excel

To be fair, fridging is a very old tool that's older than comics. That issue is just where it gets its name.

Geo

ah yes being fridged....

Geo

the boob cruise..... how could I forget about that. yeah the 90s was a special time. if I could get a couple hundred million, I would buy a cruise ship to bring that particular service back into play.

Felreign

I believe you are correct, it was a green lantern comic in the early 90s.

lighthousesociety

Well...at least there is ONE part that isn't 'cybernetic'...

Opus the Poet

Never fret, there are men who appreciate a good ironing board or surfboard depending on what part of the country your admirer hails.

Krazy Krow

Score had a cruise ship with the models back the day. The 90s were a wild time.

Geo

wasn't that also the period that [insert name of significant other] was killed off to motivate the hero became popular again?

Krazy Krow

I feel like the 90’s retconned a lot of accidental origin stories into being the work of a supervillain.

Geo

unless it's limb loss due to infection. sepsis is a nasty way to lose an arm or leg particularly if due to an autoimmune disease.

Geo

innocent? I'm not sure on that one... before the internet there was Score magazine and it's celebration of women with ample gifts. lol I think this is more of a case of Jason not spending enough time at a beach. may I recommend Miami during the summer.

Dr. Otter

But a fortuitous one. The image of a signing catastrophe gave me a chuckle.

Leak

I'm pretty sure there'll also be single-player focused attachments, so to speak...

Leak

Maybe it's just me, but having cybernetics against limb loss (that is inherently not life threatening) sounds less dramatic that an exo-suit to help cope with (but not fix) ALS (which inherently is)...

Adam

Not surprising. 90s Comics were all about the Cybernetics, especially anything involving Cable or Dethlok. Not to mention Misty Knight.

Andre Leitao

I like very much the idea!

Lex of Excel

ALS, my mistake.

Dr. Otter

"Our" MM was paralyzed by American Sign Language?!? She obviously signed far too vigorously!

StLOrca

Mecha-Spice. The gig didn’t work out.

Lex of Excel

We were so innocent before we had the internet.

Lex of Excel

Every version of MM has different reasons behind her disability. Golden Age has polio, Silver had car accident, Modern has ASL... I wonder what happened to 90s Marilyn?

Krazy Krow

Ha!

Henri Black

So, if MM's arms are entirely mechanical... does she have "special attachments" just for spinny?

shadowscribble

Bras were entirely for fashion in the 90s. That's why so many super ladies had suspender style tops

lighthousesociety

I commonly referred to it as the "the bouncy effect" (even though I was just a teenage girl back then; God, how I wished I had bouncy boobs like that, but alias, I'm practically flat as a pancake).

Azieru

Damn, 90s verse Spinnerette's boobs look great. Hers and MM figures are magnificent. 😊 At least we know all Multiverse MM love staring at Spinnerette's ass.

Krazy Krow

Yep, full cyber in the 99’s universe.

Ian MacLaren

OK, this version of Mecha Maid lost all of her limbs. Cool

Gullindjemprins

I’m OK with armless MM. should make for an interesting shower.

Jason Moon

In the 90's Spinny was the A-RACK-nid Avenger, nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.

Chris Murphy

I didn’t realize MM’s arms were cybernetic. I thought it was like regular MM with just armor. Are he her legs the same?

Jason Moon

Back when women had "BEWBS"! EXTREME TITS!
