ごく最近の事とかあれやこれやの話

先月は実質的な新規作品の投稿がなく、日頃ご支援・応援してくださっている皆様には申し訳ありませんでした。
私のTwitterで軽くお知らせさせて頂いたのですが、10月末から家族が命に関わるある難病を患って入院しており、私自身これまでの人生で経験してこなかった数々の問題やタスクが目白押しとなり忙殺されておりました。病院や役所や保健所や保険屋さんや、万一の為に葬儀屋さんにも行ったりなどなど。悲劇を扱う映画やドラマ等でたまに聞くような病気が、親愛なる家族に降りかかるというのは予想よりもずっと精神的に、そして物理的にもキツいものがあるもんだ。
「心が亡くなると書いて忙しい」とはよく言ったもので、忙しさと心の擦り減りようというのはまこと綺麗に比例するようです。絵を描くという行為はHPやMPではなくSPを消費する行いなのだと改めて実感し、一旦ペンを置いて枯渇ギリギリで保っていたSPの維持に努めるのに必死でした。
とは言え、そういうことをきちんと両立している人は世の中にたくさん居て、私にはそれが出来なかったというだけの話、言い訳に過ぎないともわかっています。弱音を吐きたい訳ではありません。幸いにも、私がドナーとなって移植する事で治る可能性がある病気なので、そういう意味でも私が精神と身体のバランスを崩すわけにはいかないのです。私の健康が、家族と地球を救う。
Twitterでは皆様に心配や励ましの声を頂けて、とても心の救いになりました。直接のリプライやコメントがなくとも、いまこの文章を読んでくれていて気遣ってくれているファンの方が居らっしゃるのは、私がこれまで描いてきた何百枚ものイラストが積み重ねてきた何らかの結果なのだろうと思います。
新作が出せない代わりに過去作のPSDデータを別プランで発表したところ想像以上の反響があった事で、これまでの絵が私の人生の確固たる資産なのだと実感し、ながねん絵を描いてきて良かったと思いました。
さて、ながながと近況や言い訳を連ねてきましたが、諸々の事情により今月も新規イラストの発表はないかも知れません。やるだけやりますが、「あ、だめだな」と思ったら潔くあきらめます。無理して描くエロ絵にエロスは宿らない。
日頃応援してくださる皆様には感謝してもしつくせません。忘れかけた頃にヒョコっと顔を出すので、忘れかけたなと思ったら観に来てみてください。もしかしたら、あなた好みの良い男がサムネでニヒルに笑っているかも知れません。

余談ですが、先日Pixivから発表された禁止作品のあれこれについて、いまのところ公開済みの作品に非公開化や削除等の予定はありませんが、たぶんウチのはギリギリアウトなのではないかという懸念があります。オカミから注意されたら反論もせず黙って言うこと聞くスタイルなので、突然消えたらすみません察してください。国際カードブランド様（^^）には逆らえませんので。

We apologize to all of our regular supporters and supporters for not submitting any substantial new work last month.
As I briefly announced on Twitter, a family member has been hospitalized since the end of October with a life-threatening disease, and I have been very busy with numerous problems and tasks that I have never experienced in my life.
Hospitals, government offices, public health centers, insurance companies, funeral directors, etc., just in case. It is much more mentally and physically painful than one might expect when a disease that one sometimes hears about in tragic movies or TV dramas befalls a dear family member.
It seems that busyness is nicely proportional to the wear and tear on the mind.
I realized once again that painting is an activity that consumes SP, not HP or MP, and I put down my pen and struggled to maintain the SP that I had been keeping just barely depleted.
However, I know that there are many people in the world who manage to do both, and I know that it is just an excuse for not being able to do so. I am not trying to be whiny.
Fortunately, it is a disease that could be cured by my being a donor and transplant, so in that sense I cannot afford to lose my mental and physical balance.
It has been a great relief to receive your concern and encouragement on Twitter. Even without direct replies or comments, I believe that the fact that there are fans who are reading this article and caring about me is a result of the hundreds of illustrations I have drawn so far.
When I presented PSD data of my past works as a separate plan instead of releasing a new work, the response was even greater than I had imagined, which made me realize that my past paintings are solid assets in my life, and I am glad that I have been painting for so long.
Now, I have been rambling on and on about my recent situation and excuses, but for various reasons, I may not be able to present any new illustrations this month. I will do as much as I can, but if I think "Oh, it's no good," I will give up gracefully. Eros does not dwell in the erotic picture that I draw forcibly.
We cannot thank you enough for your support. I will pop in here and there when you have almost forgotten about me, so if you feel like you have forgotten about me, please come and watch. Maybe you will find a nice guy of your liking smiling at you in the thumbnail.

As a side note, regarding the banned works announced by Pixiv the other day, we have no plans at this time to make any of our published works private or delete them, but we are concerned that ours may be on the edge of the line.

遅れましたが、どうかご自愛ください。そんな余裕もないくらい大変だとは思いますが、8゜さんの精神と体力が安定して過ごせるよう願っております。 8゜さんの作る作品は大好きですが、両立できる、出来ないは人それぞれですし、状況や環境、立場でも大きく変わってくるので言い訳なんて思わないでください。 無理だと思ったら仰る通り休んでください。

I hope everything gets better. I lost an important family member this year (cancer) and it was really horrible all the process but I had to pull myself together with the rest of my family, things will never be the same again but life really hits you hard sometimes. In my case, I took refuge in what I like the most, manga and anime, and you are one of my favorite artists, you do a wonderful art and I really wish you the best. Take care and regards.
