Lara Croft - Tomb Raider statue

I wanted to release this one on Tomb Raider's 25th anniversary a couple of days ago, but I ran into some engineering snags that pushed it back a bit.
This one comes in a bunch of different parts, with a couple of small variants (like a bit simpler guns for FDM printing), and there's some unavoidable support work being required because I didn't want to compromise too much on the design with this one.
I have a couple of quick videos showing some support work techniques in Prusa Slicer, since some of the parts are probably best printed "in the air", like her shorts, and the head, and the bent leg, etc.
This one is a bit more work than the usual busts, but I think it will be worth it, and it's been a good while since the last full statue!

FDM printed this and my wife painted it and it came out great! Took many days to print all the pieces but it was well worth it. This statue is huge btw, off the top of my head Iโm guessing itโs over a foot tall but Iโm not complaining, love it!
Yo....2 printers, 3 days, 19 pieces, and a lot of glue...you were right, a lot more work than your busts, but man, the finished product is nice. I actually didn't know it was going to be this big. It's so nice, I'm pretty sure my wife will complain about how much money I spent on it...so it will be a nice little surprise when I tell her I 3D printed it. My first full statue, but now I want to go back and print others. Looking forward to 2022 and beyond!
