Another amazing movie reaction JV, I really enjoy seein you have fun with these sci fi movies! The star citizen similarities make this movie so good for me! Everything from the space suits to the Mobiglass to the ship design looking like the Origin 890 and the way Chris got revived is like the hospital medbays in SC! lol

the ending is also kinda vague as it never stated whether or not Jim and aurora went on to have children. But I am going to assume they didn't as they wouldn't want their child to suffer the same fate of being alone after their parents are gone.

The funny thing about this movie, is it’s one of those rare ones where it’s better if you actually *did* watch at least a trailer first, because it was in no way shape or form revealed as to the nature of Jim’s relationship and motivations with Aurora. It basically just posited itself as a relatively generic sci-fi, spaceship movie. So a lot of people were blindsided by the reveal of how Aurora is awakened from her pod.

I think you have to put yourself in Jim's shoes that if you were the only one awake would you be able to go the next 90 years or however long you live without anyone to talk to and be all alone? Whether you want to admit it or not some of us may have eventually gotten to the point where he ended up and considered ending it all. Despite how messed up it was for him to wake her up, I do like in the end he gave her the choice to go back to sleep as he did feel guilty for what he had done. In the end she chose on her own to stay awake and be with him and like you said if he never would've done it all those people on the ship would've ended up dead.
