I highly recommend watching 2 and 3 they rebooted the series in like 14 there is like 14 + movies but the original trilogy is the best

I'm glad this movie could happen! Always loved it so much as a kid; the romance and yearning and melodrama felt so earnest and really had me in a chokehold back then To this day I'm a fan of the time-lapsed storytelling of Derek and Odette's youth, and their rivalry-turned-affection. And I absolutely loved those animal sidekicks, especially Speed. I just adore his dry but warm humor

I'm gonna this, Odette and Derek's love story is one of the worst. He's been a jerk to her their entire lives because he thinks she was ugly when she never was. And then flat said he only loves her because she meets his standards of beauty
