^everything I wanted to say. I think Francis being counseled/therapied/opening-up should be explicited in ONE chapter/loop and then always be summed up in one sentence when it happens again in further loops. If you wish to express that Francis needs a break, then GIVE him a break. Have him travel pr do something new with nothing to do with war. Hell, give him romance. Give him levity. He has made incredible progress in 10years worth of loops (I'm guessing). Honestly, it'd be funny to see him go back to the university only to act like a barbarian. It's fine for him to grind, but it is boring when a chapter is basically about +1 level without new plot elements or foreshadowing. Also, I think these last chapters are hitting an important point: Francis is lvling-up but not wisening up, despite regular and repeated advice. That needs to change.

This is getting very repetitive without advancing in a meaningful way. It's so repetitive that the beginning of the conversation with Tormund about Michael is basically copy/pasted from an earlier chapter (despite Francis opining that it was the first time anyone had asked about Michael. They literally had this exact conversation, word for word already), same with the conversation with Kehri. I also feel like his Skill Leveling is abysmally slow. By the multiple hundreds of death point in Book 1. He was nearing Sword Skill 60 among other things he was working on, and he's just now getting to 30 in Axes after 200+ deaths. I know he's not fighting real fights with the axes, but then his Sword Skill should he advancing, too. His Epic Skill to assist with learning faster doesn't seem to do anything, and his Magic Stat is growing at a glacial (no pun intended) pace. TL;DR I love the story, but you're in a repetitive slog that's not going anywhere right now.

Slight negative that's been building the longer it's been going on. The bit at the end, whatever it takes, is getting a bit repetitive to read chapter after chapter. If it's a reflection of his mental state so it reflects how close he is to breaking it sort of makes sense but it would be better if and when he breaks it happens without warning other then in his actions rather then the repeated mantra at the end of the chapter. His will, his devotion to keep going death after death is blatantly apparent without having to repeatedly reiterate it at the end. Other than that what your doing is fantastic but it was just a small niggle that kept growing that I'd thought I'd mention it.
