Do Not Use Apple/iOS App
🕑 Added 2025-06-02 16:19:57 +0000 UTCPatreon has told me to officially advise you to NOT become a patron through the Apple app. It gives you a 30% fee for the same amount of content and the money doesn't even reach me until 75 days later.
I have no idea how this is even legal for Apple to do.
My advice is use the web version to subscribe to any Patreon creators. You can still access all content in the Apple app afterwards.

Hopefully, after a few more million-fines from EU they will drop that policy

It’s because anything on iOS Apple takes 30%. This includes stuff like YouTube premium; which is $5 on Apple to offset this cost. It’s also why many mobile games are moving towards webstores, to bypass that 30% as well.
