This song is one of my go-to Karaoke picks.
It’s a great song and a reminder for me to be grateful and thankful for what I have. Your old pal Ready has had lots of ups and downs in his life. It would be easy to focus on my downs and point out reasons things didn’t go well. In the end, it never really gets me much to focus on the negative.
Instead I choose to be inspired by people like yourself.
When I think of bringing a new animation or piece of art to the Patreon, main site, or deviantArt I get very grateful and appreciate for what I have. I had to work to get here but let’s not kid ourselves. I have a job I love making great art for you and me.
My hope is every single person reading this is on the way to their dream job if they don’t already have it. For those that have it, congratulations to your hard work and perseverance. For those that don’t have it, hang in there. The ups and downs are just that, ups and downs. Things get better even if it may seem they never will. As much as possible, believe in yourself and your ability.
Don’t be afraid to ask other people for help or lean on them when needed. We are good. At our core we want to help each other and see each other succeed. Please don’t forget that. It may seem headlines focus on the negativity but there is so much more than that in the world. Look outside and just see the beauty of what we have. The stars at night, the birds, the plants, other smiling people and so much more. Think of how far we’ve come in a short time. We’re not perfect, we don’t do everything right but we do learn and improve.
So go out and have an awesome day. Remember your old pal Ready loves you and wants you to succeed. I’m rooting for you!
