No Haven 0.874 - TF Edition - Hotfix
🕑 Added 2019-10-25 12:41:12 +0000 UTCDidn't want to do another hotfix. Was in fact within the process of putting up the public release when the critical issue was reported. Accentuating the positive though as I'd started work on the next update and didn't want to do the fixes twice so I decided to finish off the magic and elementalist traits in full custom that I'd been working on first. So now you're now getting a bit of the next update early.
Not the full functionality planned as in the update proper they'll have some extra functionality and be usable in respect text. There's also might be some issues like Draki don't get any discounts on the Magic or Elementalism traits. Then I think I might limit those to one discount each on the new Magic and Elementalism menus or that might get a bit silly. That Cathayans can currently take three of those traits for all of six points I really shouldn't let stick around for long so enjoy that while you can!

-All magic and elementalist traits can now be taking in full custom. Full usage where you'll some extra functionality along with being able to use them in respect checks will come in the next update.
-Lady Kiruna has become more tactful along with being more circumvent in regard to how she uses her blight magic.
-Adjusted the traits on the rewards on Reign of the Witch-Queen and added a bonus value to her.
-Added some more common eye and hair colours.
-Golems will no longer tickle.
-If you would be occupied like a slave would be i.e. being corrupted you will be in-eligible for the Puppet Leader activities at the end of day.
-Accompanied slavers will no longer be penalised for their companions not having the job skill that they do.
-Critical fix for slavers with a companion losing their gender during an assignment.
-Fix for unique slaves not showing their aspect descriptions.
-Fix for some quality attire not boosting the assignment types they should be.
-Fix for Defending on Coastal Corsairs allowing you to go over the slave cap. Now has some alternate text with increased gold and supply rewards.
-Fix for certain assignment effects persisting onto other assignments when they shouldn't.
-Fix for your slavers forgetting to bring the slave with them after repicking on Whore Makers.
-Fix for Witches not being counted as a Very Rare race.
-Fix for the accompanied by themself message.
-Fix for the Board of the Crossbones success having double beautiful.
-Fix for some repeated 'the's.
-Fix for Lay on Hands being shown as Irrepressible.
-Fix for Tosk's abbreviated traits showing up as incorrect initially.

Also M:Summoner doesn't seem to work for the camp leader, on assignments i don't see any summons helping

Sorry, on some full custom starts if you take Magic: Blight it won't count for assignments. I haven't tested every race, but I know Wright, Ogre, Wood Elf, Night Goblin doesn't count it. Abyssal troll does however.

Third. This also seems to be exclusive to taking M:Co, the Fel Chosen start still has corruption options available. M:Blight also seems to sometimes count for the leader, sometimes not.

Bug Report: Corruption does not appear to work at all. Not only does M:Co not appear in the personal assignments even if the leader has it, but any assignments with a corruption result say "Corruption: " with no result afterward. This includes succeeding, failing, and critical succeeding on Complete Profane Ritual, Corruption on Tall Tails, and Corruption on Vicarage Tarts.

Seconded. I also have this problem. Also, while it seems to indicate that if you select harmony for an Ooze during character creation, you're supposed to get +6, this doesn't seem to be happening.

Bug Report: My encampment leader has M:Co but is unable to use the ability to corrupt people from the personal assignment option. Biomancy works fine but Corruption doesn't.

Not currently. I do have some extra stages past the current ones though where you'll sink even deeper into her clutches

was curious is there a limit to how much debt you can have with the mistress or can you just keep going until your overthrown win or lose?

That's when you end up filling the role of a slave for the night. Normally slaves who get corrupted or have biomancy done to them get left alone so it's just making things more consistent.

They can work but it's highly dependent on what I've need to change backend so generally I don't advise it. Saying that if you finish day you may find that most stuff will start showing correctly again. And yes I'm hoping this will be less of an issue when I get the twine conversion finished.

Sadly, older saves don't work in new versions, it's an issue with RAGs(And reason #37 for the Twine conversion)

Sorry for asking this, but I haven't been on the game for long. Can anybody tell me a bit more about save game compatibility. I managed to get a witch and a golem on my team in version 0.871 and don't want to start a new game just for the sake of some minor additions in the newer versions. However, when I load this version 0.871 save with version 0.872 RAGS just tells me that the save was created with an older version and only shows me blank boxes. Do I really have to start a new game for every hotfix or is there a way to continue playing your older saves with newer game versions? Any help is much appreciated.
