Did you know Peenkun has a lil bro? I fired up some pottery at a workshop many years ago. I thought maybe I could make a flower pot, but it ended up a little too small. So it's been collecting dust in a cupboard. The kiln story reminded me of my little pot and I realized it's just perfect for my lil guy! Bet peenkun is jealous now. :)

That's a fantastic idea. I don't think classes are too expensive. The ones where you go to just paint are cheaper. Feels zen to make something.

OH MY GOD I might start learning pottery if it's not too expensive. I've been accumulating a whole lot of new hobbies or light interests - succulents and plants included. Planning to paint on the pots I got too if anything, and am giving each plants names and interests to draw things they might like. Creativity might be a good type of focus right now, since fear and paranoia keep me alert and intense all the time, focus feels really reactive and I'm having a lot of trouble feeling vulnerable or emotional again. It's kind of hell still after 11 or so months. And yeah that sounds like a really cool date idea I'd imagine. That aside the lil bro is adorable and those stories are interesting. Oh god that database one sounds stressful

I gotta vote for the second story, even though backups were available...Ooooo, the sinking feeling in the stomach, uuurrgahble, π. I consider the second story a robin hood type of deal, no big harm done there. For my last year I made a, (crappy lookin) tie interceptor in metal work. We were not allowed to make weapons, obviously, but when held in the middle, the sharp pointy wings that protruded from your fist could have def done damage. My butt didn't realize till I'd finished it and the teacher had let it slide cause he was a starwars nerd, lol. Thanks for the stories Skitty and those who submitted, π
