The uncanny valley effect is where you see something that you don’t recognize and automatically assume it is fake…..I believe

I also have JRA in my right hand! I’m also in remission but this is the first time I’ve heard it can cause heart issues and I’ve had high blood pressure and heart palpitations for a few years now! I also can’t see without my glasses anymore 😭😂 thanks for the heads up! I’m going to have to get this all checked out now!

Pretty sure that's the prop gun they've used in a few of their Sunday cool ads. They keep the real ones strapped under the table ready to punch holes.

So, supposedly if I remember correctly, the house you were talking about was for Al Capone's mistress, and you could say it's outside of apopka since it's on 435 in sorrento/Mt Plymouth. I think it's nicknamed the gingerbread house and it is definitely unique.

Our problem (most of us at least) isn’t gluten and dairy, it’s the way our (US) flour and milk are processed. It makes sense to regulate for safety, but a lot of the pasteurization, bleaching, and other methods to keep things “clean” are destroying our bodies ability to digest these things. Places like Italy and France are great examples. They eat so much cheese and wheat and they don’t have the sensitivities, allergies, and obesity like we do.

Don’t yall hate when you sleep wrong and have to turn your whole torso?! Getting old sucks
Levi Hoogerwerf
Humans have the best endurance of any animal. Because our bodies are upright and because we can sweat (we’re the only ones that sweat), we can outrun any animal if the race is long enough.

Haha I took Japanese and a ton of their words are "borrowed" from other languages. Like "pan" is bread just like in French

You guys just gave me a flashback to high school Spanish class. It was the first day, and the teacher asked everyone to share one Spanish word they knew. My friends were being nice and asked, “Rufus, do you have a word?” I said, “Yeah! My mom speaks Spanish around the house all the time—she grew up in Miami.” The teacher started going around the room, and people were saying things like “Hola,” “Uno,” and “Baño.” Then it was my turn. I sat up straight, full of confidence, and said, “Konnichiwa!” The whole class burst out laughing. The teacher dropped her head in disappointment. I just looked around, totally confused, and asked, “What?” Everyone thought I was joking—but I wasn’t! Honestly, I should’ve just played it off like I meant to be funny, but I’m one of those people who really don’t like being wrong. Still, looking back now, it cracks me up.

My husband loves to use big words, meanwhile I'm just out here like the dad from The Croods movie "big words anger me!!" Lol!! The other day we were trying to describe a specific fashion/personality type of a group of people without sounding like a whole jerk. And my husband says "they're eccentric!" (I think that was the word. If not its similar!) And I just looked at him like 😑 and he's laughing because he knew I didn't have any idea what he just said to me. And he explains it to me. Fast forward a month or so, we were traveling a bit last weekend and I see this very strangely dressed man at a grocery store. Like I felt a little unsettled that my 2 very young daughters would notice him. I give my husband this look and he's like "that's eccentric!" And I'm like "aaahh I get it now!!!" (Just a little disclaimer that I wasn't so concerned with his style, thats not for me to be concerned with. But I was uncomfortable with how exposed he was.)

The silent generationa and older KNOW that you HAVE to keep moving. I have seen 85 year olds doing the "sweating to the oldies" workout daily. One day I tried to join them and it was legit hard. People double my age are kicking my butt. The biggest shocker is CPR. do CPR for 2 minutes. Just 2. See if you can do it without getting winded or breaking a sweat. Its SO hard.

I’m so glad to here I’m not the only one that gets hurt when you try to play a sport in these later years. I popped a calf muscle jumping off the diving board. 43 yrs old.

I tried to do a cartwheel 2 years ago. At 42 years old. It did NOT go well. While I didn't break my wrist I did push one of the saddle bones out of the wrist ligaments. #badchoices
