Important update post (paused billing & commissions)
🕑 Added 2024-12-28 12:19:54 +0000 UTCTLDR : Getting top surgery early January, I'll be pausing billing for that month & instead rest + work through the commission waitlist, anyone pledged and interested in a commission can fill a form!
--------------------------------------------------
Paused billing :
This means no money will be drawn from your account for January unless you upgrade a tier during January, see it as a skipped/freebie month (server remains unchanged, I'll still stream and post there still!
Due to the November billinng update, the pause goes from the date i pause it (will be December 31st to avoid double charges) and so pledges should start back up again starting February first!
New members will be charged if pledging in January since it still unlocks 100's of posts etc
That, as per usual, also means that if you wish to upgrade for February, do so when February rolls around to avoid double charges, if you want to downgrade do so in January so to not be charged extra in February
Note that I will not refund either new pledgers nor upgrades since they still open up past rewards, if you have experienced repeated automatic cancelled/declined pledges look into it to avoid being booted if you didn't intend to cancel!
I'll also hopefully have caught up with projects & be able to work on more text/lore/tedious sections of story stuff! With lots to come in February for sure!

Top Surgery :
WOO!! A huge step & journey the past few weeks, it's been a scary & stressful time but I'm excited and happy for the future. It's all thanks to you patrons that I've been able to save up for this, and for that I'm endlessly grateful!
I've been lucky enough to be in a position where I could pay for the surgery out of pocket (approx 4900 $) thanks to you guys! I've felt stable and fortunate enough to not need any fundraising. It has of course however still left a major gap in my savings and I know a couple people mentioned wanting to help out further, so although it's never ever any requirement nor pressure, the option to support & donate a lil can be done with paypal <3 Noting who it's from is optional, I don't ever look at emails or names so it can also be done anonymously if so desired
Surgery date is the 9th of January, and so I'll be mostly chilling the first while & see how recovery goes, I should be able to draw rather soon after though!

More about the trans experience :
I consider myself a demigirl, and I only really explored and embraced this for a year or two, however I've worn binders over the course of almost 5 years, never felt fully home in my body and can look back at recognise terrible body dysphoria now. I think the big hurdle was me not feeling like top surgery nor being trans was something I could be or get, I didn't know enough about the enby spectrum nor the beautiful and various experiences of gender-identities.
Still feeling feminine in certain aspects definitely muddied my ability to look further into myself, especially as someone who's become very used to just pushing through both physical and emotional discomfort. If you can't tell though, I've been able to explore it further lots via my OCs, it's been a big comfort!
Even after receiving the referral and having literal papers defining me as trans, I felt undeserving of it for a while, because it's still not been as bad as so many others, like being misgendered/passing & conforming to societal expectations not being a major issue most of my life. It's instead fully been an internal and body-related struggle that's been both emotionally and physically damaging.
On the more positive side, I've received so much support: although a bit hesitant and mostly unsure; parents have come around and are there to help and wanting me to life my life authentically, many wonderful friends whom IΓ€ve been able to talk with, share experiences and get so much insight and positive encouragement from! As well as doctors and a psycologist who really care for their patients. I've been so so so lucky in my situation, and I can only hope it keeps getting better from here!
Getting to pursue my passion whilst being myself is a dream come true, and I'm hoping at least someone might find comfort or joy reading about my experience. I'd be thrilled to hear any and all stories or other from those who are trans, and possibly if there are people here at the first step of exploring gender further themselves, my platforms are always meant to be a safe space <3
I could ramble about this forever, but thank you so much if you made it all the way down, hope everyone has had a good 2024, may 2025 be kinder and nicer to everyone!

Massive congrats for the upcoming surgery!! I really hope your recovery is quick <3 I also wanted to say thank you so much for talking about your experience so openly. It really does mean so much for those who are still unsure and questioning. So much of what you said rings true for me as well but I felt like I wasn't allowed or didn't deserve to be NB for [insert made up dumb reason here]. I've been on such a journey myself over the past few months and it really helps to read things like this and feel like I'm not alone in feeling this way

Wanted to add onto this: Do yourself a favor and make sure to lift your arms over your head. Not right after, but around day 3-4. You don't want everything stiffening up and losing full range of motion!

I'm so happy that you've been able to explore yourself and know what you want! As a trans guy myself who's gotten top surgery, it was the best thing I could have done for my body and my gender identity! I hope your recovery goes smoothly!!

Iβm trans and figured out back in 2022 and only started T this year, but Iβm hoping to get Top surgery next year too!

That's absolutely wonderful news, congrats! <3 I wish you the best and a smooth recovery! As other people have said, it's so wonderful to see people embrace their authentic self and it hits even harder for me as a trans man myself; I'm yet to undertake any steps in medically transitioning, so it gives me so much hope and joy to see other gender diverse people take their steps in living as their amazing authentic selves. Thank you for nurturing and inspiring such a wonderful and inclusive community, it truly means a lot. Again, I wish you the best, please take care <3

Reading your post made me feel so seen. I'm AFAB and for years I've labeled myself as a trans man, only to change to transmasc to then cis(n't????) and now when people ask I just say i'm some shade of non-binary. On one hand it feels awful because I feel undeserving of such a loving community (the trans community) but at the same time I've never felt comfortable in my body. I'm also striving to get a top surgery soon and I'm SO happy you were able to get your own and that you will feel better in your own skin! I'm truly proud of you! You're an example and an inspiration to others in so many different ways! π₯°π₯°π©·π©· I wish you a happy new year

congratulations!!I hope the surgery and recovery goes well for you. me personally, I'm only genderfluid, but I do get dysphoria from both my body and the way people interpret me. this post helped me kinda realize that I have body dysphoria actually, which is rlly weird (in a positive kinda way) but I am thankful

Itβs so fascinating how diverse the gender spectrum is! In my own experience I am much more affected by the societal and social aspects. Misgendering and such deeply affect me, while Iβm not as bothered on the physical aspect of it. (I do still get dysphoria, but not to the same extent as a lot of Trans people)
