Here comes the normal ass comment from the one who requested: thanks for the reaction, and the director Barry Levinson did this then Rain Man a year later. That’s a cocaine 80’s prime I’m lucky to see. But hey shit! Yes it was about just preventing communism from spreading, but to those old/now dead folks, it was about making sure a nuke from the soviets wasn’t dropped on us. Shits crazy. Edit: also it’s very loosely based on a true story. Adrian Cronour existed and did a form of that.
