She's against mind control, but is she against therapy? Maybe what she does is insist he get therapy, and keep tabs on the results thereof. One of the most powerful forces is a newly converted man - if he faces his demons and conquers them, he can be even more effective at helping others with their own demons who seek out organizations like his.
