An Apology and a Short Story

Sure, sometimes the words just flow and it is an amazing feeling.
Other times it is a massive struggle.
I set out to try and write a new chapter to "Pleasing the Teen Futa". I have tried that a few times and it have not worked out. This time it is difficult too. I have not gotten that far with it and I am not that confident with what I have. I just took a short break from it and now I will see if I can put my focus on it again, or if I need to just move on to something different.
Some friends were holding a short story contest, writing with the theme of snow for the holidays, and after them asking a few times I decided to go with it. The word limit was 5k words wich I think is a bit short, but I decided to have fun with it. It was refreshing to write something that came out without forcing it.
The story is about an elf that is saved by a human and promises their life to them in gratitude. The contest is just for fun and does not need any privacy or secrecy, but I am thinking it will not post it anywhere until at least a few weeks from now. Just sharing it with you all.
The limits forced me to try some new things and change my usual writing style regarding some things, but please let me know what you thought about it.

It definitely wasn't too short (or too long), you told the story very well and there weren't any leftover questions or feelings of the story dragging on. Very well done, I say, good job
