Now that I have Cocoons

Thank you for such a clear-eyed look at choices. Environmental impact vs. creature death can be a balancing act. The carbon footprint and ecosystem collapse of growing, processing and transporting cotton horrifies me. Plastic's persistence is a nightmare. We can't go naked so we do the best we can with what we are able, hopefully thinking a little about our impact on the world as we do. Just don't get me started on malaria, DDT and rich nations over poor ones.
Everyone is (hopefully) doing their best. I am an omnivore (try to keep to chicken and fish), make most of my clothes, buy whole food, drive a fuel efficient car. I wouldn't eat a whale or an elephant, and I try to be thoughtful about my environmental footprint. I'm not perfect and can only try to be better. I love wool and silk! (btw, one impact that was missing is the water and chemicals used to dye fibers. Anyone watching the video in jeans might want to do some research.)
