With innovative use of statistics in biology, he was one of the founders of neo-Darwinism. Despite his lack of an academic degree in the field,[1] he taught biology at the University of Cambridge, the Royal Institution, and University College London.[4] Renouncing his British citizenship, he became an Indian citizen in 1961 and worked at the Indian Statistical Institute for the rest of his life.

It’s so weird that this just dropped because an unrelated atheist YouTube channel posted something about Haldane last week. To save my life I cannot remember who, though.

You cannot say that the H. L. Hunley was the first submarine to successfully attack and sink an opposing warship and leave it at that as the word "successfully" would imply that the Hunley's explosive weapon didn't also kill everyone aboard the Hunley. It was the third and final time the entire crew aboard the Hunley died.

Sub history with Noah is definitely something I’d be interested in.

We normally record a week in advance but we missed a week because of a liveshow. So we recorded it tonight, and I edited it and posted it ASAP since it normally comes out at noon on Monday for patrons.
