Let me lead you away from stress.
The cares of life can clutter your mind and fog your vision, but only if you allow them to—only if you give disillusionment your hand and allow it to drag you into its murky waters. Instead, close your eyes to the lies and look to me. I long to lead you higher, away from the torment of anxiety and stress. I want to give you eyes that see from my perspective—eyes that see through the lies and disillusionment, straight into my truth. My truth will set you free.
Give me every part of you, especially the areas that seem too painful to trust me with. It’s only when you let go and release control to me that I can truly take over. When you lose sight of me, even for a moment, the enemy’s smokescreen fills your vision. Turn away from him! Look at me, my beloved. Focus on my truth. It’s so hard to yield our control, our focus and our will to God. We want to keep everything in our possession because we believe that way no one can hurt us. Truth is that when we are in control we don’t understand what we are allowing to drag us around. When we release control and give it to God we will be free. When we trust Him we are blessed. When we focus on Him our vision and recognition of the damage of our old ways become crystal clear. Thanks Sis for drawing our attention back to Him! ❤️
