This dress has hung in my closet for decades now. My mother-in-law was so fashionable and I was the blessed inheritor of her vintage dresses. This is the month of her birth and so I thought it was most "fitting" to post a tribute to her! I miss her so much. She passed away on my birthday over 20 years ago, but she is alive in our hearts and I KNOW she must be dancing up a storm in heaven! She and my late father-in-law were quite the ballroom dancers!
This is all made possible because of my dear friend who was generous to bring his camera and do a backyard shoot when he came out with his wife to pray for my jaw 
. He is an amazing friend and I am grateful for his heart and the healing that happened in my toe! God always has something going on if we look for it! Thank you, Pastor Jim, for seeking out God's heart for me!

In this era of disposable fast fashion, it is refreshing to take a pause to reflect on a treasured heirloom. I am happy to see people still keep things that mean so much. This is a great way to honor your late mother-in-law. Your friend did a great job with the photograph. Although I adore your various, self-produced media, you look especially "photojenic" here. And, just rereading the quote. Fast fashion, other vices. You just keep bringing the hits. 🙏
