Elasid your animations have always been my favorite things. Imo if you feel the need to push back release I can wait. I know it will be good no matter the wait is.

Slow and Steady Can't rushing amazing like yours. Keep it up ^^. But don't overdue on yourself and get plenty of rest

I have watched other animators go through this exact scenario of locking themselves to a hard schedule and then running themselves ragged to keep up. Most of them eventually decided that a hard schedule was stupid as some animations are just less time consuming than others. They now release content as it is ready. Sometimes they can get 2 simpler animations in the same month. Other longer and more complex animations take more than a month. Maybe take a poll on maintaining a rigid schedule is entirely necessary. I would rather you maintain quality at the expense of time than release something you feel is lackluster or rushed while exhausting yourself in the process.

I'm doing alright from time to time. If I ever all into a bad place, I can easily just delay the animation. Thankfully, everybody has been exceptionally understanding and supporting me with the option of delays.

I don't think I'll ever do this. I'm keeping the goal of at least one animation per month. I may alternate between creating animations with unique characters each month. So one month, I'll make an animation with the assets I already have, and the next month I'll create an animation with someone new. If I plan far ahead enough, I could split up the work, and start working on the rigs early. So when I'm working on an animation with assets I already have, give myself a head-start by working on the rig for the next months animation. Giving myself more time to get ahead, and not making it so that one month I'm super busy, and the next I'm chilled back and taking it slow. After I finish Alice's Intermission, I may create a poll with what new characters people want to see. Then, I can start the rig earlier, instead of waiting until the next month.

Why not also do a poll asking for either an animation or a new character model. Since you release the rig free to use, you could make it patreon exclusive. And im pretty sure people enjoys your rigs. Then depending on what wins then you do a poll for the subject of the animation or which new character to be rigged. In doing so, whatever the poll wins, it would block the other. As such, if a new rig win, mo animation that month. If animation wins, obviously, no new rig. This way, you could dedicate your time to the chosen task alone while delivering high quality work as always. And having a whole month for a rig also means you can push more details to them. Or just have an extra free time when rig is done and not yet to the next month. After all, like anyone else. You need breaks and there is no harm in taking some when it is required. As long you do announce it. When it is, you'd be surprised at the amount of support for that decision you'd receive.

Please don't burn yourself out trying to reach a specific date, it's much better for everyone if you take your time and work at a sustainable pace. Take care of yourself, a little extra waiting won't hurt.
