The rules were simple: 'You were all given five free raw-files of mine, from this photoshoot to process the way you felt the most'. π€π€π»π₯
So basically you were all given completely opportunities to edit just the way you wanted. π€·π»ββοΈπ₯³ Nothing is wrong - everything is absolutely right! πππ»

You've played around the colors in the shadows, and to me it seems you've enhanced the red/blue tones. By doing so you somehow increases the overall vibe and makes it somehow more romantic.
Where I took my own photos in a more yellow-ish tone, you've headed for the red/blue - and I like that! π₯³πͺπ»
In my personal taste, it could use a bit more skin retouch to complete the result, but that's minor details. βΊοΈ
You've cropped the second photo aswell. Is there any specific reason for that? ππ€·π»ββοΈ

So this is another approach! π
Going low contrast black / white, was something I didn't think of myself. π
In fact, I find it rather interesting since the second photo was done, with the fact that we were playing around with colors, in mind. So going black / white on that one, is a bold move, Casper. π₯³ππ»
That said, I think the second photo needs a bit more contrast, to deliver in black / white. π I miss some "action" or tension, which could have been achieved by increasing the contrast for instance. βΊοΈ But again; that's just my opinion. π€ͺ
I can't see any retouch on the skin, but I guess that's totally on purpose and just something you don't prefer. βΊοΈ ππ»

Okay, here we go! π Four submissions with four different looks - let's jump right down into it. π€
Photo #01:
A slightly colder look than my original. It seems you've lowered the overall Kelvin for the photo - and what I really like about doing that, is the results on the flowers!! π€©
I'm not sure I would have done the same, on a nude photo, due to the fact that cold normally ain't associated with nude people, but let's forget that for a second - because I really like the colors and contrast you've achieved on the flowers. ππ»
A little tip: You can keep the warm tones of the skin in Capture One Pro, even if you lower the white balance (Kelvin) for instance, by selecting it and increasing the 'Saturation' in the "Color Adjustments" > "Skin tones"-panel.
Photo #02:
A bit darker and a slightly less red/yellow-ish toning than my original. βΊοΈ
I haven't got that much to say about that part, but what I do want to highlight is the way you've cropped it. π€π»
It intensifies the look and make it look like a still from a movie (because of the aspect ratio you've hit π ).
Can you explain you're thoughts about that decision? ππ€·π»ββοΈ

Hmmm.. I really can't see what has been done to this one, other than again lowering the white balance / Kelvin?! π π€·π»ββοΈ It looks super fine and very much alike the original, in my opinion. ππ»

Now THIS is interesting! π
This has been super aggressively cropped and all of a sudden the photo tells a complete other story. π±
You've turned it into black / white and with pretty intense contrast, it really emphasize the light coming in from the side of the model, painting her beautiful face, arm and hair. βΊοΈ
Please tell us more about your thoughts on this direction you went!! π₯³ππ»

Like the previous entry further up from B. Rytter, you've been playing around with the colors in the shadows. π Instead of going red/blue-ish, you aimed a bit more towards the green side, it seems.
There's more contrast and structure in your photos, so the overall look seems a bit more 'dramatic', then my originals with lowered contrast. ππ»
That's a nice touch and creative way to do them - however, when adding more drama to photos like these, it's still important to keep in mind that you have to do some skin retouch, in my opinion. π
I miss just a little bit of that. Like the blemish she has in her forehead on the second photo. It's a shame you haven't removed that, because the increased drama really highlights it for my eyes. π€

You've kept them all pretty similar and in the same style. I can't really tell if there's any skin retouch on them, but it's obvious that you've gone black / white, and added quite a bit of grain to them. βΊοΈ Were you aiming for some sort of analogue vibe or what is the idea behind it? π€·π»ββοΈ
My personal favourite has to be the first photo actually, since I think that works very well in black / white with these settings. I'm not convinced on the rest - but that's again just my humble opinion. π€ͺ
It's playful! Creative! And that is what these challenges is all about. π₯³ππ»

Sorry for the bit later response, have been otherwise occupied lately, first of all thanks for the detailed feedback, I felt that with this challenge I was a bit empty of ideas and inspiration, so was only happy with 3 of the 4 submitted pictures. Photo #01 Was basically an experiment, tried to merge the original "warm" picture with a colder one, using the HDR function in Lightroom, so that's how the result with the flowers came about. Photo #02 I really liked that picture, my general idea behind it was to play with the light while still keeping the dark areas visible, about the "movie crop" it was just something that happened? It was just right in my mind, and somehow tells a story like a movie. Photo #03 I didn't feel it needed much editing tbh, I lowered the kelvin by 200 and added some saturation and vibrance that's it for white balance, though I did amp up for the red colour and tweaked the lower part of the picture to a bit more greenish, and then made it darker, for me it's like "who's this mystery person behind the glass?" Photo #04 Now this was a picture i worked with a bit, had another version (also cropped, but not like this) in colours, but this one just stood out to me, the background being blurry, person in focus, actually having difficulties putting words on how, what and why on this one, it just felt like it was good like this for me. One thing in common for all pictures and edits I do, is I'm playing, listening to my mind and eyes, going with my first intuition when I don't really try to achieve a specific result, I let the picture and my mind play together, sometimes good, sometimes bad, but that's how I learn and like it.
