Plus as creators, we are not forced to create, buy, or convert cc. This is something we volunteer our time to do on our own freewill. And if this were freelancing it would be VERY different in that instance, however we are creating content for the sims 4. By EAs rules, all content we create is owned by them as soon as it becomes a .package file. Only thing we own is the raw mesh that is in blender.3dsmax/etc. People are essentially sharing EAs property with eachother as their sharing the package files

Unfortunately these creators are already breaking rules by having their cc behind a perma-paywall according to EAs guidelines. They also broke EA and Patreons guidelines of sharing peoples information, which cowbuild and hermajesty(Known for this) has used to call peoples jobs to get them fired and worst. Others contributed to this list knowing those two have a history. Then you have those like Leosims who have knowingly got secondlife items and put them behind a paywall and a virus filled website

Oh it's the first I'm hearing about people being outted or what not. Cause if it's about creator defending people over the theft of their properties and having each other's back, I don't see anything wrong with that. Obviously if there's more to it, it's quite problematic.

Crunchystufff

plus one of those creators (🐮) also allegedly stole and is selling stuff they have no rights to sell. So in that right….

The creator list was used by creators like cowbuild to send their patreons to attack and harass these people even when there was no true evidence of them leaking. It was just assumed in most cases. No pixel is worth having their job called, being outed as gay or trans, and etc.

I'm honestly conflicted by this. That list was "private" and only accessible to CC makers who have their work stolen on a regular basis by entitled people. So they decided to have each other's back. I've seen this concept in many situations especially during the #Metoo era where women where I lived created a list of problematic men who abused them and the list became a political and legal issue. People who are victims of theft shouldn't have to just sit by and take it. It's pure non sense.

Personally speaking as a creator, someone resharing cc they paid for should never go as far as someone leaking their information. Especially when the cc they paid for was a bought mesh that the "creator" didnt create themselves.

None of this would be happening if people just paid for other people's content;; This community is exhausting.
