(AD FREE) Making the PERFECT Slitting Saw Arbor

And I got what I paid for. So I tried my hand at making a version that perfectly meets my needs. And let's just say it's not as straightforward as you might think...

That would have been awesome 😂 Wish I'd have thought of that! Thanks!

The end of the video I was hoping you were going to cut the old arbor using the new one before tossing it into the box. Great project!

Thanks, PJ! And very concerning indeed. I won't give too much away, but it certainly wasn't how I'd have liked that to go...

Thank you very much!

Glad you noticed! It has been a dream to use

It definitely was and actually bit me a couple times in the past before I figured out how to work around it. Yes that is the best use of the machine shop haha Thanks!

I haven't finished the video yet, but the one you bought looked like it was going to be a real challenge to use for precision work. Happy to see another interesting project. (And I still recall your comment from early on that a machine shop is a perfect environment for making more tools for your machine shop.)

I almost immediately said "this looks different." And in a very good way. The added variety and better range of shots adds a tremendous amount to the videos, even if it's just subconsciously. Making tools to make tools!

You've done it again Brandon! Nicely done!
PJ
Hey Brandon, Nicely done with fun! Your humor is on par with your precisionism and makes for great fun to watch, learn and appreciate! Something about achieving tenths with aplomb and a smile. Although a bit concerning about the last shot stuck in the R8. @¿@ Thanks Much.
