Sometimes destiny is cruel, but more often the greatest meaning in our existence is what we do with it. This creature is in pain because he cannot fulfill his destiny, nor can he find meaning since he continues to be sealed away by those without an open mind. Dusk/Twilight doesn't seem that way to me, so I feel like this story is going to be like chaos, learning to accept the darkness because the true evil lay in reflecting others or trying to hurt them because they're not like us.

Methinks that Destruction has gotten a very oversimplified idea of good and evil with the very short times he's had to be awake. He really could use a friend to sit down and explain a few things here. Wonder how long his distraction will hold off the rest of the party?
