While completing the Season 2 scenario, there were exactly two episodes that I struggled with until the very end: Episode 1 and Episode 13. Both episodes share the characteristic of being action-focused, with very few erotic scenes. I didn’t want to portray Kate as an incompetent heroine. I believed that in order to maximize the contrast after her fall and to enhance her value as a heroine, she needed to be a character with overwhelming combat ability and strong will. Therefore, instead of having her fall immediately upon appearance, I structured the story so that all surrounding characters would be under the cartel’s control, leaving her isolated, fighting valiantly, but eventually succumbing. However, this kind of development could be exhausting for readers—especially since my manga is serialized monthly. I sincerely apologize to those who felt frustrated by it. Now that all preparations for Kate’s fall are complete, the story will proceed in a very straightforward manner. I can confidently say that it will be a development that satisfies many readers. I have a strong desire to bring joy to as many people as possible and to leave behind a good work. I will continue to work diligently without forgetting this original intention. You know how I think or at least I wish it will go? Mei put some sleeping drugs in the drink that we can see on the table, then when Kate will wake up will be bound in some weird chair that stimulates with drugs, elettroshock in some half hypnotic state then see the flashback and in the end Kate sadly falls into deep corruption state loving to be sadistic dominated by big boss

I thought that too when I saw her showing the maladea for Kate. How she knew about the plant? Maybe Jane already passed that information to the Cartel. And it makes sense, since we are going to proceed to some "action" like the author said.If she wasn't corrupted yet, we probably see more "storytelling" before the action begins.

I have the impression/wanting that Mei is already corrupted and that her fall will be show in flashback. The cartel had information (from Mia) and a lot of time and resources to go after the person who can revert their brainwash. Or maybe she is willing cooperating and know Maladea because she was the scientist behind....

As for Kate, I think there will be some masochistic depictions in her training scenes. However, I don’t want to make Kate herself into a masochist. Both she and Jane are highly capable officers, so I want them to remain in the upper caste within the police department. Of course, that won’t be the case when it comes to Alex.

Love your work as always, I definitely love your approach to show how strong Kate is, it will for sure make her fall more satisfying for me. Though the once a month serialization really left me wanting to see more already haha, but I totally understand that your workload must be tough. I was wondering, and would love to see your take, if you have consider making one of the main stronger characters to have a contradicting/humiliating personality change. Say to make one of the higher ranking, like Jane or Kate, to be a masochist/love being bullied by the actual lower ranking. But when it comes to operation/keeping face, they become the highly capable officer they can. Please take care of your health, as always. PS: Very sorry for the long comment everyone.

Originally, I was thinking of creating a whistleblower character who secretly helps the police within the cartel. It could be a man or a woman. But as the police department becomes completely corrupt, the whistleblower becomes isolated from both sides. The scene in the early part of episode 12 where Jane tortures the prosecutor was originally about punishing the cartel's whistleblower. I don't know if I'll ever get to use that character again, but I'd like to try.

Happy to see a little bit of Kate fighting back, even if we know the end result. I also really like Kate's awareness of the change in the eyes. I know it might have originally been an artistic choice but it's a nice point of interest for anyone looking for 'corrupted' characters who haven't yet revealed they've fallen to the overall conspiracy. I'm looking forward to Mei working to help Kate and, while we're not there yet, the reveal of a male member of the gang who doesn't need drugs to put her in her place but is more than happy to lend a guiding hand. Fingers crossed.

Great to see Mei going back to the story! Very excited to see the final version of ep. 14! Hope there's a scene of Kate, after Mei's find a room or a couch for her to rest, that maybe we can see her sleeping in underwear, since she's not at her house, she doesn't have her things. It will be a "glimpsy" of Kate's body before her fall begins!
