I think Mei story can fill up the gaps of what happens during the events that we saw at the police station. Mia contacting the cartel, going first after Mei, installing in her a taste for her smell and a desire to convert others. Mei can go visit the police station after Jane's conversion to see the results, Mei meeting Rin and discussing brainwashing and how he used to undo Rin work and now they are working together. Maybe experimenting on some female assistant or young intern in the Lab together, and Jane, Mei and Mia setting up the trap for Kate. Hiding all their knew pervert toys and taking care of the cigarette smell, and installing hidden cameras. And Mei perspective as Kate get in her house. Just ideas.
