It's been a while since we had an update. I usually only post major updates on here, but I figured we'd remind you all that we exist whilst also showing off this cool, new cosmetic that our 16 World Cup finalists have been awarded. We've also fixed a few bugs, which you can read about below...
🌟 added custom avatar, nameplate and emote for the World Cup finalists
🌟 only allow attempts at whispering to non-neighbours on Wraith scripts
🌟 show a friendly notice if a new user joins a public lobby with a Bootlegger in play
🐛 make it easier to click "Gather Your Players" at low player counts
🐛 improve audio / video device selection to work with Chrome v138's new device selection UI (thanks Evil Steve)
🐛 stopped the "silenced" indicator from giving away when another player was in a whisper at night (thanks Grochu)
🐛 fixed almanac / wiki links on Mac standalone app (thanks @yoyosource)

thats fair i guess i misunderstood participants as finalists. congrats should still go out to thise that got the new swag well deserved 👏 The Prize The victor will be awarded the only prize befitting a world cup champion - a badass, Blood on the Clocktower World Cup trophy! Participants will also be awarded a special cosmetic in the official Blood on the Clocktower app, to be created in the near future.

There were never any plans for a cosmetic for World Cup entrees. We wouldn't even be able to hand out such a thing, as there's no simple way to get all of their user IDs from the Google form. Perhaps next time, if we integrate entries with the app, we can do something like that though! - Ben
