Agree, bring out the witness, and while we are waiting, try talking to your future husband, find out more about him (maybe while giving him the light snuggles and cuddles? Would be interesting to at least see how he reacts to someone actually being interested in him while showing him some actual affection).
Confounding Outlier
Ask for the witness to be brought out, and talk with Regis in the meantime. Ask him what happened in Ponyville. Did he make any friends there while healing? How'd he get here so fast? Does he think one witness will be enough for the information we're looking for? If not, does he already have a plan B?
