Agree with stardust, but I suggest waiting for the dragon king to return before departing. After all, if you aren't there, it might cause him to be a bit confused about your absence.

If there is a quick way to communicate to somepony in Equstria to find out the status. If no contact or situation is dire, tell your subjects your going to aid your family and use vines to fast travel. Leave someling in charge till you return

Agree with statement above, we need to go Equestria after some rest ( As we all know, they still need some help due to easily broken defence from invasion army or just evil Overlord that can defeat the Alicorn like flies)

Yes I agree with Bernard. Apologize to both of our creatures and return to Equestria as King Rex and most likely our Changeling Captain know why we must go. But before that we should rest and regain our health back.
