I have a friend in Palestine who had to evacuate her home and leave absolutely everything but her cell phone behind. She had to walk over 5 miles in the summer weather with guns pointed at her by Israeli soldiers the entire time. What Israel has been doing to the Palestinian people is completely inexcusable and worse than anything Hamas is doing to its own people. Absolutely infuriates me that my tax dollars go towards supporting that apartheid state.
