The kiss was innocent and just meant to be sweet I believe like you said they were just having fun. It was a peck nothing sexually implied. Infact I think their playfulness illustrated open heartedness. This was the same that was in Madonna’s who’s that girl video and. Toured with her on the whos that girl tour. Madonna assisted him in his career by producing a song for him and I know he did some modeling and acting as well. You previously mentioned madonnas maternal nature and I think this is a good example of that

This video for True Blue was never seen at the time. The video for the song displayed on MTV for the public was actually ab amateur music video that won a national Make My Video contest put on by Madonna and MTV. Search it on YouTube, it can be found
