Maybe we are going to see a flip flop between spiteful rage and empathetic or shameful sadness. It makes sense, people do things in the moment hyped up on brain chemicals and regret it. It is just in this case that we are dealing with a dangerous girl on a confined space ship stuck in a pact that gives her supernatural powers which let her destroy cities. At this point I am rooting for everyone else to remain calm and not rock the boat.
