I think you should watch some of Jim sterlings videos about micro transactions. I think that it is more than just stupid people buying into them. These companies are targeting children and people who have compulsive disorders. In addition to that the micro transaction trend has put content in full price games behind and additional pay wall. This is content that use to come with a full price game. Micro transactions are a horrible trend, worse than DLC packs.
