I would say probably the PC is fine, just missing some connection or other. Are the front panel connectors plugged in right? Sometimes it's hard to figure out the positive side and negative side on the cables and plug them in correctly on the Motherboard. Also, are all the power cables connected to the motherboard (EPS and 24-pin)? I'm sure that with the help Mitch mentioned the computer will boot fine. Don't forget to set the RAM to XMP in the bios.
