Would she be able to control tardigrades? They'd exist in Antarctica surely. Still, fair point. Just felt like odd wording, as if the Passenger was ripped out with every return to Chaldea.

No bugs in Chaldea. The place is ludicrously clean, curtesy of Da Vinci and all the magi who live there. There also aren't many bugs that can survive in the Antarctic tundra, so she has literally zero access to anything her powers work on. Functionally, while she's in Chaldea, she doesn't have them.

So, question. In a lot of chapters when Taylor is Shifting back in time, she often remarks about how she is going to get her powers back. But...aren't her powers a persistent thing in Chaldea or the past?
