🕑 Added 2024-09-14 21:11:36 +0000 UTCAs Taylor and Marie talked about way back during Jackie's recruitment, the subject was inevitable. There was no way they were going to go all the way to America, let alone the entire rest of the Grand Order, without having to address the elephant in the room.
Taylor does too good a job of compartmentalizing. Things happen, and then she locks them away in a box and pretends they don't affect her. And some of the things she locks away like that are minor enough that they start to seem silly and childish compared to everything else she's been through. But some of those things are things she never dealt with, and they can't be soothed by, "Oh, something else even more terrible happened."
Did you think Olga was the only one with unresolved trauma? Not even close!

A heavy, but necessary conversation with DaVinci and Romani. If/When the story gets to that point, I'm morbidly curious to see what the other members of Team A think of Taylor, especially if/when they learn her full history. Taylor is lucky to have a Servant like Arash; he's genuinely a good man, while also being pragmatic and experienced enough to not judge her harshly. I'm really glad that Taylor spared Jackie. :) And God help anyone who tries to hurt either of them. Go after Taylor, and Jackie will literally cut their heart out and make them eat it. Go after Jackie, and Taylor will show them why she's still alive and why the vast majority of her enemies are dead, imprisoned, or otherwise defeated, including what could almost be considered a god.

well, that's another "jack", as his true identity was never known, there are multiple spirits that occupy different aspects: "jack" assassin are the thousands of dead orphans in the body of a girl that committed murders attributed to "jack the ripper", and "Jack" in strange fake, berserker He lacks a true identity, and instead acts as the embodiment of the mystery behind the legend of Jack the Ripper, he is not the soul of a real person, and only knows that he is "Jack the Ripper" and has no knowledge about the true identity behind his legend.

so in the end Jackie is not actually jack the ripper? Because we see the actual Jack the ripper in strange fake right?

If I'm not mistaken, they are all the souls of the dead children who form a gaslath and take the body of "Jack" because she is the one who committed the murders and carries the greatest conceptual weight.

Almost all of me thinks this is great, but a very cruel, very small part of me wanders what taylor would have become if she had killed poor Jackie. Would this story had ended in another gold morning?
