Also, it was a BLAST to meet all sorts of interesting sailing people at the US Sailboat Show - including LOTS of Delos folks. In the process I got to meet Bill and Grace from Calico Skies, Jordan and Randy from Learning the lines, Paul and Sheryl of Distant Shores and Capt. Q and Ran-day the Yacht Hunters.

Happy new year! and some old parents wisdom: whenever a kid enters a school or any other kid's meetings after a long time of solitude, they will get all the germs from other kids, and be sick a lot until they get self-immunity... it is just the way it is. (Same with grownups:). be healthy

Since I experience your cruising life as an observer, the number one special moment for me to watch was when Sierra, wearing swim goggles, held her breath, put her face underwater! The look on her face was priceless. I can imagine when she is old enough to scuba dive, you will have a hard time getting her out of the water! About Sierra getting colds at preschool. Being exposed to mild bacteria and viruses at a young age helps to build up a strong immune system. Happy New Year to you and yours. I am looking forward to more of the Sea of Cortez and the South Pacific. (I will miss Grace and Bill)

Happy NewYear from Annapolis. So glad the three of you are having so much fun on your vacation. Looking towards another great year of following your adventures. Thanks again for coming to Annapolis once more, and hosting all the great events. One of my special moments was sitting next to Mormor and Sierra at the Patron event at the Historic Inn of Annapolis. Ofcourse, I also want to say how surprised I was to walk into the Boatyard Restaurant and find myself sitting next to Papa Delos after he just arrived in town. Anyway, love from my family to yours and God watch over all of you in the coming year.

Thank goodness that Kazza forgot the trauma of your last visit to the Chesapeake Bay on DELOS ..... when that squall came up. Kazza had the look of terror in her eyes and voice.
