Hey Janne- just saw this comment! Yes, we have heard about this as well. So far the changes haven't impacted us so much because we were one of the first to join, so we are "grandfathered" into one of their old, and good, plans. But that could change at any moment.... We were working on our own but when Sierra was born and we went back to Delos I sort of shelved that effort. But it could be brought back to life I think. There is also another up-start that some friends are using called Creators Wheelhouse. We have our eye on that as another alternative. Hi Brian and Kaz. I’m a perfumer and use ambergris everyday. I would make a small tincture from a small scraping. Just put in vodka for a few days. If wax there will be no smell. Ambergris is hard to explain but it’s ethereal in its beauty. We actually met last year at the Annapolis party. Peter and I were telling you about our smelly skipper in Mauritius…. 😂. Hopefully you know by now I love all your video stories - but this was a special episode, too. Something about that bike ride footage reminds me of historic Delos energy, and that soundtrack played in the first diving session reverberates within! The bits on Ambergris is very interesting and all of that mixed in with beloved 'Brian of Delos repair' commentary alongside footage of Sierra's boat tour - good stuff! You've got incredible, next-level editors on your team to boot (comparable to Brandon Li)! And mama Kazza taking it all in stride and grace :)

Wow did it rain at the boat show Saturday. Power was out in parts of Annapolis like on Main and on Maryland Ave. Compromise was “compromised” with too much water. Friday was stellar though. Missed you guys but caught up with Bill and Grace.

Hey guys, not about this video, but I just heard some really scary analysis about the amount of venture capital Patreon has raised over the years, the company not meeting the growth expectations of their investors, and how that might be impacting the way it's going with creators and supporters alike... Kind of reminds me of the situation back in 2017 with their proposed change of fee structure, and I remember you guys saying something about decreasing your reliance on Patreon back then... Did that get anywhere? If something bad actually happens here, I'd really like to be able to keep supporting your adventures through some other means. For educational creators, there's Nebula, but for e.g. sailing and adventure creators, I'm not aware of anything similar.

Hey Guys... I wonder if people watching realize how much work you do to produce these vids.... Getting ariel vids with the drone, dive vids, and third persons to record and just setting up the shots in general. The equipment is expensive and recording, time consuming! Wow. That is one of the reasons I started donating... The other is because as a former world traveler, I feel like you do significant work to bring me (us) along. As I watch, I remember sailing with the wind in my hair, the taste of the salt water, the joy of exploring and diving around the world and meeting the craziest people! Thanks so much....MR. BIGG!
