Come join us for a FLIPPING good weekend in Australia!
Friday, July 12th Patrons Only BBQ
2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
We'll host a Patrons Only BBQ on Friday, July 12th at the build shed. We can throw a shrimp on the barbie! J/K that's not really a thing here... But there will be burgers, sausages, and beers in the arvo, and that for sure is a thing here! We'll do it at the build shed so you can have a chance to see Delos 2.0 up close and personal. And we can chat about sailing, boat building, or whatever!
Saturday, July 13th The Flip!!
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Saturday will be the main event! We'll pull Delos 2.0 out of the shed, hook two giant cranes to her, and flip her end for end in the air. Check out the pictures from hull # 1 being flipped in the post above. It should be a heart stopper! After our hearts calm down a bit we'll toast to a successful mission with champagne and figure out some plans for the rest of the afternoon. Maybe dinner at our friends restaurant? We'll figure something cool out.
Sunday, July 14th TBD (free day)
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
On Sunday we have a choice of things we can do depending on the vibe. We can start out with brunch and mimosas and take it from there depending on the vibe!

FAQ
Is there a cost for this event?
Nope, we're hosting for our Patrons. We'll provide the food and drinks for the BBQ on Friday. If we end up eating out at restaurants and stuff everyone can just pick up their own tab!
What airport is best to fly into?
The closest airport is in Brisbane (BNE), about 45-60 minutes driving from the build shed which is at Redland City Marina.
Are you organizing accommodation and transportation?
I sure wish we could! But I'm afraid our tables are pretty full with the build so it's up to everyone to organize their own accommodation and transportation. If you have any questions let us know and we'll do our best to help.

Booked flights to/from BNE. Got a hotel about 3nm from Marina. Rental car also. Happy to give anyone a lift. I can only make the BBQ. Have to head out the next day, before the lift, but excited to be a part of this gathering :-)

Depends on time of day, but uber for us mid afternoon was about $50 Aus which is about $35US so very reasonable I felt.
