Steve Allen

Great to see the progress and hard work.

Benjamin Valyou

What's the waterproofing process look like and when will that happen? I love these, awesome progress!

Rick Betancourt

Big fan of these

Sara van Eerde

Ok so NBB Questions. Have you looked at Headhunter for the water systems? Or Furuno for navigational electronics? I am curious as to what you will decide upon.

DVDesign

I am always a little awestruck to see my creations coming to life. This one is pretty special indeed!!

DVDesign

I am always a little awestruck when I see my creations taking shape.....this one is pretty damn special!

Tom Worrell

Great job as always. Love the narration - what a great crew you have to work with. It must feel very satisfying to realize what you're accomplishing and to know what you have to look forward to. I think you and your great family have figured out a way to really live well. Thanks for taking us along on the journey, and making us feel welcome at the same time!

Michael Williams

Ian asked my question: do you just manually switch tanks both for usage and filling?

Ian Priestley

I’m intrigued to know how you will flip the hull over when the time comes ? also given the water tanks are I the keels will your system draw on them equally? Ps loving my 2.0 T-shirt

finn b hansen

Yeah !

Dave Cummings

Love the commentary

Michael Trautman

Wow ! Papa Delos is BONKERS over the progress you have made. . Hold on …. I’m coming ….

Scott C. Wise

I'm tell ya, ya been framed, . . . framed I tell ya! But in the good way. Hahaha

John Hardie

Great progress, can’t wait to see it in person! This week I worked on my 64 E Type with my son and my normal sparky work. Enjoyed it all great having Alex working with me while he is on Uni holidays.

Jeanne H. Mathieu

Very valuable updates, the timelapses 🙏🏻🌏 Gives a good impression on the workprogress ☮️

Sailing SV Delos

This is a whole other subject I am still learning about but there are actually different types of cooper based antifo for metal boats.

Sailing SV Delos

Woohoo nice George, see you there and enjoy!

Sailing SV Delos

Probably just leave the sides brushed aluminum but the top sides will be covered!

Sailing SV Delos

Stay cool Colleen!

Sailing SV Delos

Yes and yes!

Sailing SV Delos

Yep, sure will! ❄️ And she’ll be fully insulated so much better at climate control.

Sailing SV Delos

Awesome! Have fun 🤩

Sailing SV Delos

I decided the performance gains of dagger boards weren’t enough to offset the pro’s of the mini keel…. Sounds like a great question to answer in next weeks!

Sailing SV Delos

Hey congrats Scott, nice work! 🙌

Sailing SV Delos

Hey Simon! There’s 4 of us. Me, the apprentice, and two experienced boilermakers . 💪

Alan Gore

Love these, so exciting to be part of the journey, it feels like I'm watching history in the making

Abel Serrano

AWESOME!!

Eric G Miller

Again awesome!!

simon hantler

Looking good brian. ( mate) How many on the job? You’ve got a great boat coming along, best design skilled metal pros and enthusiastic attitudes all round. Try and milk KM about latest techs in insulation, non skid, anti foul, electrical etc they are very progressive and have shit loads of experience. I’m sure eauwe will share info. I’ll pop over some time love to see it. Simon

Chip Andrews

Another week of incredible progress!! Love the time lapses and the narration is spot on and really ensures we know what is going on! You guys are animals in terms of your work ethic! Good on you!

David Walsh

Love the commentary

M. Scott Owitz

So cool to see the amount of progress this week! I completed my PALS course, pediatric advance life support and take on a student to precept! Gathering stuff to do the bottom of the boat with an epoxy layer then bottom paint. Going Total Boat all the way!!!

Steve K

Why did you choose mini keels over daggerboards?

Brian Richardson

Great progress, a still picture of the plates we couldn't see would be cool but not required.

David Ratte

This upcoming weekend we get on the Erie Canal and transit to Brewerton, NY by next weekend. Fun fun doing a couple dozen locks!

TOM PASLAY

Didn't you have AC on Delos? Will you have it on Delos 2?

michael

WHAT A SHOW! I HAVE BEEN WATCHING FROM THE FRIST ENJOYED ALL THIS IS A GREAT VIDEO, THANK YOU MIKE FROM MIMS FL..

Tom Caban

Great progress! Really enjoying these videos.

Igor Razumny

Narration is perfect

Terry Haan

Awesome video. Keep them coming. Sucks we have to wait a week for the next one :-)

Michael Trautman

Ready to Rip the FLIP

Arthur Barie

As always, great stuff! I really look forward to the flip, and then a lot of the systems installations. Delos V.1 has a TON of additions that you've done over the years, and I'm sure some of them are less than optimal, just because Amel never considered installing them when she was built. It will be interesting to see how things such as all your non-ship related computer technology is installed. Will there be fixed cameras to capture routine B-roll or unexpected events? Much love, and best wishes to the Trautman family!

Peter Kane

Love these time lapse vids..... We know for you it's a bit slower progress, but for us with the time lapse, it's awesome progress!

Kirk Boston

Perfect update. Love it.

Juan David

The twin boom P-38 is looking good! Very retro.

Jeff Cure

Exciting to watch the build, will yours have full insulating and double glazing for the glass? looking forward to the price breakdown.

Will

Loved how fast you folks got those plates on the hull! It's actually starting to look like ... like it's upside down. 😃 😉

Colleen Balch

Woah! So much progress, it's amazing. Love the narration, hope you'll keep doing it. I'm sweltering here up in the mountains in Vermont, it hit 90 F today and is going to hit 105 tomorrow. No AC in the house and I'm gonna head for a swimming hole tomorrow afternoon. The grant writing can wait. ;)

William Brandon Kahler

Looks great Brian when delos 2.0 is finished you thinking about going classic white like on delos.

Carol and Greg Gegner

Very cool and yes keep the narration going. That’s really helpful.

Bill Dapp

So I was thinking last night about Delos 2.0 being aluminum. What will you use for an anti-fouling coating for the bottom of the boat?

George Schreck

Sailing this week to Tahiti still! About 2000 nm to go! Then to Australia for party! 🎉🍾
