Sonar question, presumably the sound eminated by a diesel engine is determined by the cylinder firing rate so a 4 stroke engine would fire at half the speed of the shaft and you'd look for a sonar signal at half the shaft rotation speed?

Ku is W "K under" so under K band with Ka "K above" above K band.

Just FYI: Ku-Band lies next to the K-Band. X-Band: 8,2-12,4 GHz; Ku-Band: 12,4-18 GHz; K-Band: 18-26,5 GHz; Ka-Band: 26,5-40 GHz.
