The Harry DeWolf-class Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ship (AOPS) is a class of ice-capable patrol vessels built for the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) as part of the National Shipbuilding Strategy. The lead ship, HMCS Harry DeWolf (AOPV 430), was commissioned in 2021 and named after Vice-Admiral Harry DeWolf, a distinguished Canadian naval officer.
The Harry DeWolf-class enhances Canada's presence in Arctic and offshore environments, enforcing sovereignty, supporting search and rescue (SAR) efforts, and contributing to international operations. It also assists in disaster response and environmental protection.
The Royal Canadian Navy plans for six ships in this class, with some versions potentially entering Canadian Coast Guard service.

at 9:10 you say it's a modified Civilian ship hull, some are not entirely true. Harry Dewolf class is based on the highly successful Norwegian Coast Guard icebreaker NoCVG Svalbard, and it also holds 17.5 knots max. Some are what you can get out of an icebreaker hull, a lot of time top speed is dictated by the hull form and icebreakers that are built to be heavy and break ice and have a very round hull will not be high-speed capable as a warship that has a hull designed for high speed.
