Yeah, you deduce right, the viper is refering to Oberyn, I don't remember if they mention it in the show, but in the books, people tend to name Oberyn "The red viper of Dorne" because it's well-known that he is a great fighter who love to use poison on his weapons, that explains the title of this episode.

Tyrion will die because Oberyn was killed first which means he lost. I know it seems confusing and I was when I first watched it. The mountain is dying but he killed Oberyn before he met his end so technically the mountain wins.

Agreed, Tyrion is one of the best characters in the show. The Hound is personally my favourite but I must admit he isn’t essential to the story like Tyrion is. With Jorah I. The first season we see Jorah hear the news about Dany being pregnant. He suddenly suggested he has to ride ahead of the khalasar without exclamation and we will met them later. We also see him receive a letter from a boy when Dany is looking around the market. He then stops a wine merchant from poisoning her because he knows it will likely happen
