The book is my favorite of all time and the movie is forever in my top 10...we had to act this out in class when I was in 9th and I played Robinson in the classroom and when it was over a white girl cried and hugged me and I'll never forget it at the time i was like alright and now i know she felt like bad in a sense it was so pure. Yall gave a great reaction ill support yall anytime.

it was quite unexpected movie to be honest! the movie build up into a direction to prepare you like ''oh this is obvious, they would fight over a case that someone is wrongly accused'' but the way movie turn out to be? very good! quite moving to be honest

White people generally called negroes "boy" to show their disdain. It's a holdover from the time of slavery, It had nothing to do with age. As a matter of fact, to call an old man "boy" was the height of disrespect.
