Rocky 3 is superior as well if not the best (the best IMO for alot of reasons), Rocky 4 is the least best. Most entertaining fight maybe but Rocky 5 is better than 4 I think. Wasnt much of a story in Rocky 4, just basic plot.

very true! i feel this one is more connected with the 1 and 2 than 3 and 4 like u said, due to his struggles.. in 3 and 4 the main focus was fighting and him having a rollercoaster of emotions.. but here we see the pain and the suffering that everyone goes through... i think this is how we see Rocky getting mature and down on earth... he had a lot of hope for that kid.. but like Adrian said ''he might have strength but he lacks the heart''

Although 1 and 2 are superior and III and IV are more entertaining and re-watchable, Rocky V feels more real than the last two., it's a story about the struggles of a boxer with faltering health as he tries to balance his new career as a manager and family after losing his wealth. It portrays Rocky as an every man, much like the first two did, and not a superhero. Sure, there are flaws, especially the acting from some characters, but I think it's a perfectly fine movie that gets way too much hate. A lot of real life issues that happen in Boxing like professional fighters losing their wealth due to ignorance or corruption..having to retire because of brain injury....conflicts between trainer and fighters due to greedy, dirty promoters. Also, I don't know if you knew this but Sage Stallone, real life son of Sly who played the son here, passed away in 2012.
